How to Wash Slippers and House Slippers?

Panduf ve Ev Terliği Nasıl Yıkanır?

House Slippers are among the most frequently used products in living spaces, especially during the winter months. Designed in different materials and styles, these products help keep feet warm on cold winter days. Terry cloth Slippers, fleece-lined Slippers, panduf Slipper models, or furry booties... Women's House Slipper and men's models, which come in many styles and options, frequently need cleaning. House Slippers need to be cleaned regularly to remain soft, comfortable, and hygienic for a long time. So, how are panduf models washed? Let's take a look together at the details to consider when cleaning Slippers and pandufs.

How Are Pandufs and House Slippers Cleaned?

You need to wash your House panduf models to clean and sanitize them. You can wash your Slippers either in the washing machine or by hand. The materials you will need for cleaning are as follows:

  • Brush
  • Laundry detergent
  • Fabric softener
  • Wet wipes
  • Washing bag

Regardless of their material, you can easily clean your Slippers using the right methods and extend their service life. When cleaning Slippers, pay particular attention to cleaning the inside thoroughly. This is because bacteria that settle on Slippers begin to multiply there first. This is also the reason for the persistent unpleasant odor in Slippers. You can follow these steps to clean and remove odors from Slippers made of cotton and polyester fabric and models designed with faux fur:

  • Wiping the soles: If you have worn your Slippers outdoors, thoroughly wipe the bottoms with a damp cloth or wet wipe to remove mud or dirt from the soles.
  • Washing in the washing machine: If you decide to wash your Slippers in the washing machine, place the products in the washing machine. If your Slippers are made of fabric, you can wash them with products in similar colors and fabrics. However, for hygiene reasons, it is better to wash Slippers separately. You can use a washing bag for this. This will help prevent your Slippers from being damaged or losing their shape. Then add liquid laundry detergent to the detergent compartment of the washing machine and a small amount of fabric softener to the softener compartment. Set the machine to 30 degrees and run it on a short, low-spin cycle. After washing is complete, remove the Slippers from their protective covers and leave them to dry outdoors. Make sure to dry your Slippers in a place that does not receive direct sunlight. Sunlight can cause the colors of the Slippers to fade.
  • Hand washing: Another way to clean your House Slippers is to wash them by hand. Fabric Slippers can easily be washed in lukewarm water in a sink with a little detergent. First, place the Slippers in the detergent solution and leave them in the water for at least 30 minutes so that the dirt comes off. Then gently squeeze out the water from the Slippers and drain the detergent solution. Finally, rinse your Slippers and leave them to dry outdoors. You can also remove excess water from the Slippers with a paper towel or regular towel. Make sure your Slippers are in their normal shape and place them in a well-ventilated area to dry. If you are concerned that the models may lose their shape, you can fill the Slippers with paper towels or white tissues. Do not use newspaper for this, as it may leave ink stains on your Slippers. Change the paper inside as your Slippers dry.

How Are Stains Removed from Pandufs and House Slippers?

If you have Suede and leather Slippers, these products should only be hand-washed, and stains should be cleaned using special sprays and dyes suitable for the material from which they are made. If there are dirt or food stains on your Slippers, or if the insoles of the products are very dirty, use an effective detergent to remove the stains. Apply the detergent thoroughly to the stained area with your fingers or with a soft-bristled brush. Before washing the products in the washing machine or by hand, leave them with the detergent applied for at least 15 minutes. Then proceed with washing.
